No purchase, fee or other payment is necessary to enter or win. Your chances of
winning depend on the judge’s scores.
Contest is open to poets, soloists and rappers who meet the eligibility requirements
set forth.
Contest ends March 27, 2010 at 7pm, CST (the “Contest Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: Contest open to individuals who are between18 and 30 years of age by the time of their initial entry.
TO ENTER: To be eligible to win and become the NAACP poster child for the “Yes We Count!” campaign,
your poem(s) must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Participant’s message is to be directed to 18-30 age groups and related to the how and why being
counted in the census is important.
2. Your performance must be in English and your original work.
3. You must not assign or license to any other party any copyrights or other rights in your original presentation.
4. Your presentation must be one minute and should not contain material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory,
pornographic, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise
objectionable.
